Dan Simonsen is passionate about advising others financially; in fact, he considers it his calling. For more than 20 years, he has assisted clients with investments, asset protection, financial planning, corporate qualified retirement plans, estate and legacy planning, and fiduciary trusts.
In the summer of 2001, only a few months before 9/11 and the “dot.com” bubble, he started work with one of the world’s largest investment firms. There he assisted individuals and institutions with their investments, and retirement and financial planning. It was a trial by fire as the financial markets imploded then and in 2008 during the credit crisis.
These experiences shaped how Dan works with others focusing on honesty, compassion, and a deep passion to see them succeed and to capture otherwise missed opportunities. When clients have clarity, confidence, and a straightforward course to follow, Dan knows he has done his job.
UFCU’s mission to serve our local community through financial health is a perfect fit for Dan to bring his breadth of knowledge to help UFCU Members.
