UFCU's Trusted Advisor Program Saves Members $8M

Austin, TEXAS — February 1, 2005 Celebration is defined by Webster's Dictionary as "observation with ceremonies of respect, rejoicing, or festivity." Since its inception in January, 2002, University Federal Credit Union's Wheels 101 member education program has saved 8,000 members $8 million. That certainly warrants rejoicing and celebrating.

As a member-owned financial cooperative, UFCU's goal is to help its 102,000 members make sound decisions on the issues that impact their lives. UFCU is convinced that the most effective means of doing so is to educate its members regarding a wide variety of consumer issues, starting with their financial well-being.

If you're one of the 8,000 members who have benefited from the Trusted Advisor educational programs, UFCU congratulates and thanks you for your business and confidence in its cooperative.

If you have yet to explore the Trusted Advisor website, UFCU would like to invite you to do so and join our members who have already saved money. We firmly believe that you will see value in and benefit from this educational program.

UFCU serves more than 95,000 members in the Austin and Galveston areas and has more than $600 million in assets. For more information on UFCU's products and services, visit UFCU.org.
