Creative technologies empower our Members to do business in new ways, ensuring safety and confidence even under unprecedented constraint. At UFCU, every employee was empowered to think of new and creative ways to continue serving our Members while simultaneously ensuring their safety and confidence. UFCU employees were steadfast and persistent. UFCU Members were resilient and flexible. Together, we faced new challenges and continued uninterrupted on our collective journey toward improved financial health:

• A brand new Mobile Banking app helped Members stay home, stay safe, and tend to their most pressing financial needs anytime, anywhere. With more flexibility, additional account access, and modernized security, Members can bank on the go.
• A new online account opening experience made it easier for new Members to join our cooperative in as little as two and a half minutes and reap the rewards of Membership during this difficult time.
• New service options at all branches, including in-person appointments, and expanded drive-thru services (where applicable), helped Members fulfill their in-person transaction needs with the confidence that they would be safe under new guidelines for public health. Curbside services were introduced and have since been discontinued with decreased need.
• Expanded Member Services, including extended telephone hours, helped Members reach us and get the assistance they needed when it was most convenient for them.
• ATM enhancements allowed Members in need of cash to skip the teller line or drive-thru. Now Members have easier access to cash whenever they need it, with their choice of $1, $5, $20, or $100 bills.
• Two new locations, UFCU Southpark Meadows and UFCU Kyle, opened to expand the delivery of award-winning financial services to the Austin-area community. These locations offer more convenience and personalized service to those who prefer to stay closer to home.
