UFCU Promotes Janice Matthews to Vice President – Retail

AUSTIN, TX — UFCU, one of Texas’s leading credit unions, is proud to announce the promotion of Janice Matthews to Vice President – Retail. A respected leader with more than 25 years of service to UFCU and its Members, Matthews has consistently demonstrated a unique blend of true servant-leadership and deep operational expertise.

In her new role, Matthews will oversee UFCU’s Retail Services & Experience and Investment Services teams. She will lead branch operations across several major Texas markets, including newly opened locations in the Houston area and the region’s only fully operational Mobile Branch. This work advances UFCU’s pursuit of innovative, accessible financial services for all Texans.

During her tenure, Matthews has held numerous leadership roles throughout UFCU’s retail areas, including branches, operations, and enablement. Most recently, she served as Associate Vice President – Retail and Lending Experience.
