UFCU still has the same great customer service it had 25 years ago.
UFCU is one of the rare constants that keeps delivering outstanding service.
One time was during the Home Depot data breach. UFCU took it upon themselves to fix it and sent me an email saying they were going to send me another card. I thought that was awesome because I didn’t have to do anything. It was just done. UFCU recognized the problem and fixed it.
More recently, I made an error in my accounting, and the timing was like a perfect storm. I almost never write checks, but it seemed like every check I had ever written in the last year hit at the same time—within four hours—so I incurred several courtesy payment charges in a very short period.
When I called the UFCU Contact Center, Karina was able to assist with reversing some of the charges, which helped out a lot. I really appreciated that because I was just calling to get everything fixed, and the fact that she was able to help out so much was tremendous. She even got an old line of credit reinstated and set up automatic overdraft protection. It was perfect.
It’s cool to see how UFCU has grown since I first opened an account at the main location on North Guadalupe, but I still get the same feeling today that I’ve always gotten. In addition to my current accounts I’ve had two auto loans with UFCU over the years, and the customer service has never changed, even though I know how much bigger UFCU is now. That’s the reason I’ve been a loyal UFCU member for almost 25 years.
