Official Rules

1. No Purchase Necessary to Participate. Persons age 18 and older, who have a valid social security number, and meet the criteria set out below are eligible to participate in the “UFCU Ticket Sweepstakes” (“Sweepstakes”). Participation in the Sweepstakes does not constitute participation in any other promotion, contest, or sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules (the “Official Rules”) and further agree that the decisions of University Federal Credit Union, whose headquarters is located at 8303 North MoPac, Austin, TX 78759 (“UFCU” or “Sponsor”) regarding the Official Rules and the Sweepstakes are final and binding in all respects.


2. The Sweepstakes begins Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 7:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) and ends Monday, September 1, 2025, at 6:00 PM CT (“Promotional Period”).


3. The Sweepstakes is open to United States residents age 18 and older as of the date of their entry, who have a valid social security number.


4. Subject to the limitations contained herein, eligible persons may enter the Sweepstakes during the Promotional Period through any of the following methods:


• Mail: To enter by mail, submit an original handwritten 3” x 5” card without charge or obligation with your name, mailing address, email address, phone, age, and member account number, if applicable (all information must be included to be considered a valid entry), to &ldquoUFCU Ticket Sweepstakes”, Attn: MarCom, PO Box 9350, Austin, Texas 78766-9350.
• Entrants may participate by commenting on UFCU’s “UFCU Ticket Sweepstakes” social media post on UFCU’s Instagram® page (located at: https://www.instagram.com/ufcu_tx/), promoting this specific Sweepstakes giveaway. Comments must be in compliance with the “How to Enter” section in Paragraph 5 for each prize listed in Paragraph 5 and 6. Any personally identifiable information collected during your participation in this Sweepstakes will only be used to administer the Sweepstakes and will not be disseminated to any third parties unless necessary for the Sweepstakes’ administration. By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules, as well as any decisions made in relation to the administration of the Sweepstakes made by UFCU. You further agree that by submitting an entry, all entrants grant UFCU, and those acting under its authority, permission to use his/her name, likeness, submissions and comments for advertising or publicity purposes without notice or payment of additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.


5. How to Enter: Participants are allowed up to one (1) submission per day on each Sweepstakes-associated post on UFCU’s official Instagram (listed in Paragraph 4). Any additional submissions received from an entrant on the same post will result in the disqualification of the entry. For purposes of these Official Rules, a “day” is defined as any twenty-four (24) hour period during the Promotion Period beginning at 12:00:01 a.m. CST and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. CST. Comment tagging a friend to enter to win. For purposes of these Official Rules, a “tag” is defined as any name, mark or other identifier (either alone or in combination with any other name, mark or other identifier) used to establish an account, screen name, nickname or “handle” or means to locate any social media profile (e.g., Instagram). Each comment can only contain 1 (one) tag of another social media account. Any additional tag or tags received from a single entrant comment on the same post will result in the disqualification of the entry. Each entrant must “like” the post to qualify for entry. To qualify for a specific prize, the entrant’s participation must be complete by Monday, September 1, 2025, 6:00 PM CT (“Promotional Period”) (“End of Sweepstakes”). Each potential prize winner will have forty-eight (48) hours to respond with his/her name, phone number, email, and address to claim his/her prize after being contacted by a social media direct message. In the event that a potential prize winner does not respond within the forty-eight (48) hour time frame, the next alternate will be contacted, and the forty-eight (48) hour clock will be restarted. In the event that the prize winner or either of the two alternates does not qualify or respond within the forty-eight-hour window, the prize will not be awarded. UFCU will review each post individually to ensure compliance with these Official Rules. Upon determination of compliance, winners will be randomly selected via drawing conducted at random on or soon after the Tuesday following the end date of the Promotional Period.


6. Two (2) grand prize winners will be chosen after the “End of Sweepstakes” date. The odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entries received and compliance with the Rules and Regulations contained herein. Approximate retail value of all Prizes is Seven Hundred and Thirty Nine Dollars ($739), equating to approximately One Hundred and Eighty Five Dollars ($185) per winner. All expenses, taxes and costs associated with acceptance of the prize, and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole obligation of the winner. Prize is awarded without warranty of any kind by UFCU, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of any prize, including, without limitation, quality, merchantability, location and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Any and all submissions must be original, appropriate for family viewing, and must not depict any dangerous or illegal activity. UFCU reserve the right to remove any and all submissions at its sole discretion and determination, including, but not limited to, photos and captions that include personal information (such as account or card numbers), or are deemed graphic, obscene, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for family viewing, or that depict any dangerous or illegal activity. Any submission that is removed by function of this paragraph, or that is in violation or non-compliance with these Official Rules, will result in disqualification.


8. UFCU will post on its social media pages an announcement of the winner, which shall include the first name of each winner and a link to the winner’s corresponding social media page.


9. UFCU is not responsible for entries, comments, messages, or other communications made either by UFCU, Entrant, or other party that are not delivered, misdirected, late, or otherwise improperly marked. This giveaway is intended solely for viewing and participation in the United States and shall be construed solely under United States federal, state, and local laws.


10. Approximate retail value of all Prizes is Seven Hundred and Thirty Nine Dollars ($739), equating to approximately One Hundred and Eighty Five Dollars ($185) per winner. ALL EXPENSES, TAXES AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE, AND THE REPORTING CONSEQUENCE THEREOF, ARE THE SOLE OBLIGATION OF THE WINNER. PRIZE IS AWARDED WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND BY UFCU, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE USE OF ANY PRIZE INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, LOCATION AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.


11. By participating the participants individually agree to hold UFCU and its directors, officers, volunteers, and employees harmless against any and all claims and liabilities arising out of any injury or damage that may be caused or claimed to be caused out of participating in the Sweepstakes and, if applicable, the acceptance or use of the prize.


12. No cash alternative or Prize substitutions will be allowed; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute Prize(s) of comparable value if a Prize listed is unavailable for any reason. Prize winners shall be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the applicable Prize. The winner of prize must execute a media release and IRS Form W-9 (collectively, “Prize Claim Documents”) if applicable. If the winner fails or refuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents within five (5) days of Prize notification (or a shorter time if required by exigencies), winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Any and all winners who are, or have previously been, members of UFCU must be in “good standing” as defined by the policies of UFCU, and cannot have been disqualified for membership with UFCU, or the Prize(s) will be forfeited.


13. Acceptance of a Prize/Offer constitutes Prize/Offer winner’s permission for Sponsor and its designees to use Prize/Offer winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements, and address (city and state) for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation. Entrants agree that the Promotion Entities (A) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Promotion or any Promotion-related activity, or from entrants’ acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any Prize/Offer, and (B) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any Prize/Offer, including, without limitation, to such Prize/Offer’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for any damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer system or wireless phone occasioned by participating in the Promotion, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, damaged, stolen, or postage-due submissions or Prize/Offer notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet service providers, websites, or other connections; or for miscommunications or failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, difficulties or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated, or other automated multiple entries will be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Promotion if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Promotion is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play, and/or feasibility of the Promotion as contemplated herein. In the event Sponsor is prevented from awarding Prizes/Offers or continuing with the Promotion as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion. These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid, or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.


14. Each entrant hereby agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless UFCU from any claims, actions, damages, losses or injury of any kind, including but not limited to, personal injury or death, resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes or from acceptance, use or misuse of a prize awarded or participating in any prize-related activity. This limitation of liability is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages; loss of data, income or profit; loss or damage to property; and/or claims of third parties. Entrants agree that UFCU has not made, or are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, statutory, express, or implied (including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, title and fitness for a particular purpose), in fact or in law, relative to the Sweepstakes or to any prize. Any and all dates and times associated with events and/or experiences are subject to change.


15. ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION, AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROMOTION SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS.


16. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram®, or the like (collectively referred to as “Nonaffiliates”). Nonaffiliates and any like or similar websites, mobile applications, and/or similar social media platforms are completely released of all liability by each Participant in this Promotion. Direct any questions/comments/complaints regarding the Promotion to Sponsor, not Nonaffiliates.


17. Any and all Moody Center images are registered trademarks of Oak View Group and are used by UFCU with express permission.


18. By accepting a prize, the winner(s) consent(s) to disclosure of his/her/their name(s) and agree to grant UFCU the right to use his/her/their name(s) for promotional purposes without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.


19. By submitting an entry, you accept and agree to be bound by these Sweepstakes rules. Any violation of these rules will result in disqualification. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.


20. Only legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older are eligible to participate. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”) and the immediate family members, and/or those living in the same household of each are ineligible to participate in the Promotion, or win a prize, and are not eligible to participate. Promotion is void where prohibited by law.
