Forbes Names UFCU a Best Credit Union in Texas

Austin, TEXAS, July 23, 2021 — UFCU, Austin’s largest locally owned financial institution, has again made a national ‘best of’ list, this time landing in the number two spot on Forbes’ Best Credit Unions in Texas list.

UFCU was the top ranked Austin credit union, and ranked second among the 444 credit unions headquartered in Texas.

Forbes’ rankings were based on surveys of nearly 25,000 customers in the U.S. who rated credit unions on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice. Of the 5,068 credit unions nationwide, just 3.6% made the Forbes list.

“We are honored to be among this prestigious group of credit union colleagues nationwide,” said Tony Budet, UFCU president. “As a Member-owned cooperative, UFCU’s mission is serving our Members’ financial needs throughout their life journey, and we continue to be humbled by the trust they place in us.”
