A Guide for Dealerships
A UFCU electronic Vehicle Buyer’s Check (eVBC) creates a quick and easy payment experience for UFCU Members and their auto dealers. The process doesn’t begin until a buyer is approved, and once it begins, signing, delivery, and payment are delivered electronically. An eVBC offers the same convenience as our traditional paper Vehicle Buyer’s Check with faster payment.
After a UFCU Member has found a vehicle, negotiated pricing, and been approved by our lending team, we help them begin the eVBC process. Then we send an email to you with everything you need to complete your part of the process, in particular the following important information:
- The Member’s name
- A link to the eVBC
- An access code
After you receive an email from us, please read it carefully, and then simply complete the following steps. It only takes a few minutes.
- Copy the access code from the email.
- Click the link within the email to launch the eVBC and begin the process.
- Paste the access code into the Access Code text box.
- Click Login, and complete all required fields within the eVBC, including details about the vehicle they intend to purchase and the amount for which we have approved financing.
- Click Sign eVBC.
Once you sign, the Member will be notified that they also must verify and sign the eVBC. Once they’ve signed, all parties will receive a confirmation email with a copy of the signed eVBC for their records.
The next business day, you’ll receive payment via ACH. (You won’t need to provide a copy of the white slip.) If you’re not set up to receive payments via ACH, we will mail you a cashier’s check to the address provided on the eVBC.
