Community Involvement

Focus on Financial Health

As a not-for-profit cooperative, we exist to promote the well-being and prosperity of our Members and our community. That’s why — in addition to the products and services we offer our Members — we support efforts that help create education, employment, and housing opportunities in our community. We believe these three impact areas form the foundation of financial health.

In this way, we work alongside organizations whose missions align with ours through strategic partnerships and sponsorships, as well as through employee volunteering and giving.

When Our Community Is Strong, We Are Strong

In addition to the investment of our resources, we empower our employees to actively engage in the community. The UFCU DO GOOD program organizes thousands of hours in volunteering opportunities every year.

“This demonstrates where the heart of UFCU is — with our Members and our community,” said Heather McKissick, Senior Vice President of Community Impact. “In our first year alone, our DO GOOD program rallied employees’ efforts around our community partners and made a real impact on the people they serve.”

Thanks to our employees who make an impact in our community by participating in our DO GOOD program.
